Royal Solaris Cabo San Lucas?

Anybody out there stayed at the Solaris Hotel in Cabo San Lucas? How was your stay and what can I expect there in regards to food/hospitality?

The Royal Solaris is actually in nearby San Jose del Cabo - an absolutely beautiful town, where I live. It's an extremely nice hotel, conveniently located on the beach, and within walking distance of a golf course, grocery stores, and the historic downtown area. While I haven't stayed there, I have clients who have and they all say nice things about it. Mexican hospitality is incredible wherever you go, and I've lived here over 2 years and have never had a bad meal anywhere, from the simple taco stand to the fanciest restaurant! The food here is wonderful. I think you'll enjoy the Royal Solaris. Enjoy your trip!

Hola! The Royal Solaris is actually located in San Jose Del Cabo, not Cabo San Lucas. That's okay though! Both towns are about 20 minutes apart and both have their plus/minus qualities. The Royal Solaris is classed as a 4 star all inclusive. It is located on the Costa Azul beach strip...a wonderful walking beach...not so great for swimming. The pool areas at the RS make up for that though. It is also a nice short stroll along the palm treed boulivard to the town, where there are some world class restaurants, shopping and site seeing. Everything you need is available at the Royal Solaris. The food is good, the amenities are plentiful and you can expect a lovely time there. You can catch a bus, or take a taxi to the livelier town of Cabo to party or to go fishing, sightseeing, etc. Most people don't even bother, because San Jose is wonderful on its own.
