Isn't it scary "running the gauntlet" coming out of the airport at Cabo San Jose? |
Travel Info How can I book my shuttle on the nice big air-conditioned bus instead of the taxis? Also, who is giving the best deal now to go to a time share presentation? Travel Tips Authorized bus service counters are located right inside the terminals. Airport to hotel shuttle will run anywhere from $12-20. ATM machines in airport if you want to pay with pesos. Taxi costs are $50-60. The taxi is not metered so be careful and always set price before you get in. Return trips to airport by taxi from hotel is much more resonable. Be careful and ignore offers for free transfers from the time share people. When you get to your hotel ask around about the best deals for time share presentations. Have a great trip s Others Hola! You are right. It is terrifying for those who are not accustomed to it. You can't even grocery shop without someone approaching you. Be polite but firm. There are many at the airport that will help you. Usually the older men. Find one and ask for a shuttle to where ever you are going they usually will charge you approx. $12US to SJD and $25 to CSL. Taxis are a rip off. I've had them ask for $50 to SJD!! As far as presentations go, I would say the Mayan Palace is the hardest pushing timeshare at the time in SJD. |
