Is there any legit transportation for airport to hotel in Cabo? |
Travel Info because we don't wanna take a taxi Travel Tips They have shuttles. As you walk out the terminal there will be tons of people greeting you & trying to sell you timeshare, activitiy packages, etc. Just say you want a shuttle to your hotel & you'll pay right away. They'll put you in a shuttle with 2-3 other couples (8 people max) and drop you off at your destination. Last May we paid USD$40 total for one-way to our lodging in downtown Cabo (that's USD$20 per person). You can also take a taxi if you don't want to share with other couples but it's more expensive, I think they charge you at least USD$70 one way. I'd take the shuttle-- I think it makes no difference... in fact I feel safer taking the shuttle... I just feel there is safety in numbers =) heh heh. Make sense? Source(s): Experience Other Travel Tips yeah they have shuttle busses and stuff that go to hotels. when i went with my parents we always made it safe. dont go in an unmarked taxi. ask for help at the airport. been there Hola! Not sure what you mean by legit. Do you mean not get scammed? Well, yes there are tons of way to get to your hotel from the airport. I always recommend taking the shuttle...they are big greyhound buses parked outside the terminal...can't miss them. You have to buy your tickets in the terminal. It would be about $20 to get to Cabo, which is about 1/2 hour away. Totally airconditioned and safe. Taxi cars or vans are too expensive. They will charge you $50 plus for the same trip. Ask your resort if they have pickup service. Lots do. The tourist vans are also pretty good but you have to know someone and book ahead. There definitely are legit companies. Did you book with a tour company? If so then your transfers will already be included. If you booked it on your own which I am guessing then you are on your own for those. I myself don't book transfers separate because my clients as well as what the vendors off are inclusive with air/hotel/transfers if that is of course what is needed. Or if just hotel/transfers needed. So I'm sorry I can't recommend one for you, but I will recommend if you booked on your own this time to use a professional next time to avoid this additional stress and headache of doing this planning that is just unnecessary.
