I live here in Cabo, so I can only answer your question by talking to others that have travelled here. Most people pay between $899 to $1299 for an all inclusive resort plus including flight. Where are you from? Then the food and drinks and activities are all paid for.

If you want to do things outside the resort (i.e. ATV, scuba, fish, or party at the nightclubs) then you will be paying to travel to these, plus the cost for the activity (ATVing is about $60 for the day, Scuba $200, fishing expensive, partying - beers are $2, most of the clubs have no entrance fee. Taxis are pretty expensive so chose a resort that is close to town so you can walk or take buses.

Cabo is one of the more expensive places to go to in Mexico.

My boyfriend and I spent about $1500-$1600 for a week's stay. That's including air, hotel (we only paid $170 because of a promotional offer- the $170 was for an upgrade) food, activities (kayaking, horse back riding, atv rides) car rental, gas, and tips. Hope this helps you! Have fun on your trip!
Excluding flight costs, I've spent between $700 and $2,000 for lodging for a week - 1 Bedroom+ fold-out couch was the lower-end, 2BR condo was the higher end. Many places have special offers where every 4th day is free, etc. - check the web for good deals. Food runs similar to US prices, but there are grocery stores all around (even a COSTCO!) if you want to save money and cook in. Overall food and entertainment for 2 adults has run us between $400 and $800 for a week, depending on how often we went sailing/snorkeling (have to take a boat), etc., and how often/where we ate out.
ok ours was pretty cheap because we have a timeshare vacation thing.... i think it was only like 200 a week for the hotel
but any ways, it is BEAUTIFUL there! a meal at a nice restraunt is about 10-20 dollars
