For those who have experienced Cabo San Lucas and Jose please tell me about experience.? |
Travel Info 5 of us are going for my bachelor party to stay at the Royal Solaris in San Jose. We want to accomplish fishing (half day), 18 holes, and deliver punishment to our livers. What experiences have been had and where? Travel Tips Hola! I live right across the street from the Royal Solaris. You should be able to accomplish all you set out for! Royal Solaris has a lovely beach and is huge with pools - but mostly newlyweds and older couples go here. It is not the place I would have picked for a bachelors party, unless I was over 40. Not all is lost though! You will get stinko drunko at the many clubs in Cabo (which is 20 minutes away) - make sure you hire a car to get your group to and fro. Fishing charters are great for a group. If you don't book ahead, make sure you go to the marina the day ahead and book something. I would recommend going on www.loscabosguide.com to find a boat online prior to coming down. 18 holes for the group: There is a municipal golf course right across the street from the resort (I've played it - its not bad) Its the cheapest at $44us greenfees for 18. All the others are quite expensive. i.e. Palmilla is $150. Cabo Real is $280, Quarencia and El Dorado are clubs - so I'm not sure. Enjoy your vacation! Hey YI! Glad to hear you enjoyed your vacation. Probably walked past you on the street or beach at some point! The only reason I said that the Royal Solaris wasn't suitable is because most people that go there are looking for a classy vacation and seeing a bunch of obnoxious men howling at the moon all night might not go over too well...it belongs in the clubs, not the nice resorts. Cheers! Others I went to Cabos San Lucas. It is a very beautiful place! It is pretty expensive but it is worth it. The beach is really nice. I went there when I was like 13 so I don't really remember names of the restaurants... but make sure you take a tour that they have along the bay. it is nice. have fun! well i just got back from cabo and actually brought a time share from royal solaris, thats how much we loved it, i dont agree with the cabochicks comment we went with our 2 boys 13 and 9 they have a great time there was lots of bachelors there, singles, families older people, so this resort is for everyone, in the hotel they have an agent who will plan your days from fishing for just going to Cabo San Lucas they also arrange a shuttle, my husband went on the fishing trip it was 6 hours he had a great time, we are sure to go back. by the way you can drink all you can they have great tequilas and i loved the pina colda |
