Give me advantages and disadvantages of living in Calgary? |
Travel Info Compare it with other cities of Canada... Travel Tips do not go there unless you have a) A job lined up (Not hard--if you are skilled and willing to work hard it is the best place to make money in the country) b) A place to live (rather difficult to find) c) A reliable car (very spread-out city. This is not Toronto or Montreal--nobody expects to rely on public transportation.) Have these three things before you move there and you will be in good shape to earn $$$. Other interesting observations: -if you are work oriented it is the place for you. People are very focused on work life there. -if you are in to the arts scene it is definitely not the place for you. One should settle in Vancouver, Montreal, etc. for that kind of thing. -if you enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, camping, mountain biking, skiing, skating, etc.) it is certainly the place for you.
