Travel Tips I am from Alberta canada, and No person driving would be allow to cross intot he canadian borders with a DUI under their record. A drunk driving charge here is considered a felony. Based on that you are a convicted felon , and no they will not be allowed. Criminal pardons must be obtained through proper procedures to even have a chance. It was either an administrative mistake, or you weren't given factual details as to why the person was actually arrested. You did not say whether the person was Canadian or another nationality. It is illegal for any person to cross into Canada, not being a Canadian National, driving an autombile if they have EVER had a DUI. Period... |
