I came here in canada last feb,21'06.my visa is from feb2 to aug2.i'm leaving on aug.16.do i need an extension |
Travel Info visa given to me is from feb.2,06 to aug.2,'o6 arrived in canada feb.21,06 i plan to leave on aug.16,'06 do i still need to apply for an extension? Travel Tips I think that you would need to apply for an extension of 2 weeks (14 days). You should definately talk to someone in immigration as they would know the correct answer. as for your visa expiring befor you leave with out an extensjion (as I understand it) you would be in Canada illegally and should they pick you up (for any reason) you will be put on a list and may be restricted from ever being able to come back.
