I am British, is there a way I can live and work in Canada with my Canadian girlfriend? |
Travel Info I am living in the UK with a degree and want to move to Canada with my girlfriend of over a year. I want to be able to work and would appreciate any help or suggestions. Erm, yeah, move there and get a job, or even better, sort the job out first (get her to help you by looking around for openings) and then move there man. It should be fairly simple, as Canada is part of the Commonwealth. Speak to the citizens advice Bureau, found in most towns/cities, and they should be able to help you with the admin. Good luck! Only way is to marry her or apply for Canadian Citizenship...unfortunately either can take many many years to officially make you a Canadian Citizen. My wifes mother is English/Canadian |
