Travel Info Can anybody give information about the city of Lethbridge in alberta specially for new immigrants ? Travel Tips Go to the Lethbridge website, and you will find a ton of information. Basically, Lethbridge is a neat place to live. It's a small city, but growing at good rate, and is a lively place. Are you already in process of moving there or is this something you are contemplating? If you go to your local Canadian Consulate (and you will have to go there if you are contemplating immigration) they will be able to give you brochures and booklets, and answer any specific questions you may have. Good luck to you! Others It's a nice little city, but it could stand to be a LOT more tolerant to immigrants. Most native Lethbridgians I have met cannot understand accents and get very frustrated with accents and customs they don't understand. Very intolerant as a group. However, people from outside of Lethbridge (i.e. students, new arrivals to the town) are very nice. There is a fairly large number of exchange students attending the university, so the other students are more used to interacting with other cultures. Student at U of L |
