Probably The Whiskey because you have to be 25 to get in. I think Tantra is like that too. They are classy, trendy places. When I was younger I used to like The Back Alley but they were always lots of fights but at least there were no gangs or anything.

Completly depends on what type of music you are into!. Electric avenue, downtown 11 avenue southwest, use to be the party strip. If you like country music check out the places on Macleod trail southwest like Ranchmans and Lonestar if its still there.
Clubs are generally safe, but I would avoid Back Alley, and Tequila. The Whisky is very nice, and I heard that Tantra is too. If you like country music, Ranchman's is good.
