What American products are not found in Canada?

Travel Tips
We do have Starbucks in the east, BTW, but only in the larger cities.

One thing I can think of is Virginia hams - I have never seen them in Canada. Probably some brands of beer and pop. There are a few other grocery products that I could buy in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, etc. that I cannot buy here, but as others have said, you'd have to ask about a specific product. In the larger cities in Canada you will most likely find just about anything you want.

We found that we had more difficulty getting Canadian products in the US than the reverse.

Best of luck.

We pretty much have alot of the same chain stores etc, and with free trade, we get alot of American stuff, but I couldn't tell you all the American stuff not available in Canada .
I just got back from B.C. yesterday and I have to say you can find most of the same things. They even have Walmart! That astounded me.
Really the only thing we couldn't find (any looked for) was a Hershey's plain ol' milk chocolate bar, ya know the kind with the silver foil wrapper. They carry mostly Cadbury chocolate.
Th only things i can think of are The Canadian Bears(as in their books and the little canadian bear snow globes) and Celine Dion. Iv been to both countrys and havent really thought about it as every damn thing is made in china. But good luck in your search.
You can't get the great big bag (3 lb.) of LifeSavers WIntergreen mints. I love those things!

And Marlboro cigarettes ... hubby smokes em, can't get em in Canada.

There are other things .. little piddly things mostly ... but I can't think of any of them right now. I pretty much live 50/50 between the two countries, and what I most miss is Tim Horton's when I am in the U.S.!

If there is something specific you want to know, mention it, and I will try to answer ... about either country.
We do have Wal-Marts ( drat ) so we pretty much carry all the same crap...
I think it depends on which part of the country you're talking about ~ that's a pretty big area to cover. For instance, out here in the East we don't have Starbucks, but they do in Toronto.... We also don't have a lot of American chocolate/candy bars, food items etc. I guess you'd have to be more specific with your question, we have a lot of American products, but also a lot of similar Canadian made products. You'll be sure to find mostly everything you want even if it's a different brand....
