Many are closed until the end of October because of bears searching for berries. Weather will be cold. October averages 10C to freezing. November temp averages freezing to -- 8C. You should plan for some snow just to be prepared. There is lot to explore for more details at the official sites. If you mean US Thanksgiving then it will be cold, with a possibility of snow. It will be chilly in the mountains, especially at night. It always is, even in summer. If there is any snow, it will be minimal and probably won't stay around long. Our Thanksgiving is October here, are you coming in November? Either way it will be about the same. I grew up in Alberta it will be cold in the morning but will warm up during the day. so make sure that you have warm clothes with you. also there might be some trails closed because of bear activities, so make sure you check first with parks canada about that. there could be some snow but it will not stay too long yet. but be prepaired for it! i highly recommend going to banff i went their for summer vacation and i absolutly loved it peple were awsome food was great scenery was amazing and yes you can hike you can take that rialway thing but hiking to the top seems like a better idea |
