Memorial Drive was named that in respect for servicemen who died during the World Wars, Deerfoot trail was named that due to the numbers of deer that used to be in the area and Edmonton Trail is so named because it is a north/south route, north to Edmonton. You are aware that there is also a Calgary Trail in Edmonton.(double gasp)lol
