What time is it in calgary alberta canada if its 9/8 central? |
Travel Info What time is it in calgary alberta canada if its 9/8 central? Travel Tips Alberta is on Mountain Time. One hour behind Central. So at 8 Central it is 7 Mountain. But what are you talking about 9/8Central? If it is for a TV show, then Alberta is not Central so it is probably broadcast at 9 Mountain Time. Source(s): http://www.timetemperature.com/tzca/cana... Other Travel Tips Alberta is on MT which tells you that there is one hour difference between it and CT except when it's on day light saving time. Sask. does not observe daylight saving time. Calgary is on Mountain Stardard Time (MST), so it is an hour behind Central Time. When they announce the broadcasting time for television shows, they almost always say, "Nine, eight central" meaning nine o'clock in the eastern timezone (ontario onwards east) and eight o'clock in the central time zone (Sakatchewan onwards to Ontario) So, you just have to subtract an hour from whatever time they say last. It would be seven o'clock MST. |
