I don't think you'll find anything cheap. Rental rates are through the roof. Maybe you should look at buying. I KNOW I COULD FIND MY FRIENDS OK?? SO SAY WATS UP YO?? Edmonton (and Calgary too, I believe) is experiencing a boom right now. Rental accommodation has gone up about $300 per month in the past month or two. Suites are snapped up as soon as they are listed, or don't even make it to listing. Good luck. I hope you find something you can afford. In short, you CANNOT find low-cost accommodation of good quality in Calgary any more. Demand has badly outstripped supply. (Hint: there are many good jobs in neighbouring Saskatchewan, where rents and house prices are far lower.) |
