Travel Info What's the weather condition in Jasper today? Travel Tips About a 4 hr drive - West on #1 about 110 miles to Highway 93, then north about 130 miles to Jasper. Temp - low 10 F, high 45 F - but check current forecast. P.S. It is a LOT longer via Edmonton - 180 miles north to Edmonton, then over 200 miles west to Jasper. P.P.S. recommend taking longer -maybe make a day of it - stop off at Banff (about 70 miles east of Calgary on #1 - it is right on route. Others It really depends which way you go. If you're going through Edmonton it's about 4.5 hours, however not very scenic at all. If you drive to Banff, then take the Icefieds Expressway, it's a little longer but much more beautiful drive.
