Hi to everyone, can somebody give me the valuable information about calgary, alberta, canada? |
Travel Info hope there's someone out there could help me know and share with me the important information like, *average cost of apt rental *transportation fare(per bus, nor train), *weather, etc. therefore which does give a full view and knowledge about the standard of living in calgary, alberta. Thanks again. Salamat. Travel Tips Average cost to rent an Apt. $950-$2000 a month. I know that you can buy pass for either a bus or the train. Don't remember what they cost but can't be too much. We have tonnes of Job opportunities, but finding a place to live can be a little tricky, so I would make sure that you already have a place to live before you make the trip. Our weather in the summer is between 15 to 25C not bad and the winter is usually -10 to -20C. Cold but one thing about Alberta the weather changes every 5 minutes. Over all it's a great City to live a lot to do and tonnes of shopping and people are really nice and Calgary is a very cultural City. I must tell you that right now Calgary has a zero vacancy rate....so finding any space to live is very very hard...and if you do find it, it is very expensive. I know young people who pay 1300 Can for one (1) room!!!!!! Like anywhere in Canada the bus system is debatable...I would not live there without a car....and the weather is 4 season. But even if it is cold in the winter in Alberta the sun shines even in winter...so it is not depressing. Best of luck They have a great NHL Hockey team |
