Tell me about alberta in canada? |
Travel Info any information on alberta in canada such as schools etc Travel Tips In a nutshell, Alberta is going through an intense economic boom... probably the most frenzied boom anywhere in North America for the last 50 years. There are plenty of jobs, but there is a big price: the two major cities, Calgary and Edmonton, are congested and rents for apartments and prices of houses have skyrocketed in the last three years. Unless you have a job that pays a very high salary and business contacts who can help you find suitable accommodation, be very wary about moving there. Any recurring fear of many Albertans is that this energy-driven boom will abruptly end, plunging the entire province into a severe recession. It has happened before, in the 1980s, and the decline was so precipitous that many people lost all the equity in their houses and simply mailed their keys to their mortgage holders or banks. Congestion and housing costs are considered to be so bad that substantial numbers of people are moving from Alberta to the smaller neighboring province of Saskatchewan, where there are also plenty of jobs but housing costs are considerably lower. Others I have no idea which schools Alberta went to but I understand she is a well educated and all round nice girl. You' like her a lot!! alberta is in canada and it has schools etc alberta in canada I think i read some were that she was a street worker in toronto flat prairie country in the east and central, mountains in the west. lots of big farms. arctic climate in the north. calgary and edmonton are the biggest cities - calgary is about 1 million, edmonton about 650,000. very cold six months of the year. good universities - university of alberta stands out. Hello 鈾?br /> Check out : http://www.alberta-canada.com http://www.gov.ab.ca http://www.cs.cmu.edu/unofficial/canadia... Have a nice day, Cat. I have lived in Alberta for 22 years. It's great! Yes we have a cold winter and lots of snow but that's great if you like skiing! Our summer's are nice about 17-25C. Our schools are good, shopping great. It's nice too because if you ever want to go to the mountains it's only a few hours of a drive. We have tonnes of jobs right now and no one to work them. Housing is expensive and so is rent because of our booming economy. Alberta's population is mostly Conservative when it comes to politics. I'm not sure what else you need to know but I hope I helped a little bit. |
