It's a fairly easy one-day drive (maybe 8-9 hours) if you take the Coquahalla (sp?) but the toll is kind of expensive. The #1 highway is free, but much windier, probably more like a 11-12 hour drive if you go that way. You can also take the crowsnest (Hwy-3) through Osoyoos and Creston, but that's even longer, probably 13 hours. It's a very pretty drive, though. Others 8 hours 419.48 miles or 675.06 kilometers. The distance, by road, between Calgary and Vancouver is 972Km (604 miles) It should take roughly 11hours. it is a 11 hours, I drive it all the time. about an 11 hour drive, but that depends on weather etc to fly is like an hour I find it to be about 9 or 10 hours if you drive fast (get a radar detector) and don't make too long of stops. I have driven it quite a few times. |
