Is my status still legal after my workpermit expire while waiting the result of the renewal file last october? |
Travel Info My work permit which was granted under the program of CREWS in Toronto will expire the end of next month but i applied already for the renewal last October with different employer engage in construction in Alberta but so far no result yet. My question are:1. What is the chances of approval? 2. If ever my work permit expire and yet no result from HRSDC and CIC respectively, is my status still legal, if not what should i do? Travel Tips I wouldn't worry about it too much. You still have over a month to get it. Just stick around even if it does expire without your new one. They take a while to track you down. Others Check on the STATUS of your renewal by trying the 1-800 number. You probably have a reference number. If that doesn't work, contact your local MP and have him/her push the right buttons. |
