if you want o know minimum wage its about $7.50 but most places are paying $10.00/hr these day...

Calgary is not the best place to live anymore..
i don't know how much, but i need to let others know what is PSW means..PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER..(caregiver)
Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Aide - Non-unionized are in the $9-$11 range. Health Care Aides in unionized places are anywhere from $11.45 to $15.60 depending on where you are working. Licensed Practical Nurses on the other hand make in the range of $14-$20 for non-union and $18.75-$21.25 for unionized workers.

Non-unionized PSW would not be able to be self-sufficient in Calgary with wages in the $9-$11 range considering the cost of living there. If at all possible with a little effort upgrading to a Health care Aide would increase your wage expectation by several dollars per hour considering the potential is $14.72 or more per hour versus $9-$11 as the pws. If at all possible I'm hoping you might consider this alternative.
