Is it just me or are Calgarians too high on themselves.? |
Travel Info I have noticed that whenever I talk to people from Calgary, all they can talk about is.....Calgary. Are my experiences just coincidental, or do they reflectthe true nature of Calgarians? Travel Tips You wouldn't happen to be from Edmonton would you? Calgarians seem to me like a guy from Toronto married a Texan and they gave birth to a Calgarian. Others i wouldn't know as i never talked to a Calgarian. maybe it's just you or maybe it's them depends on how many you talked to and what they all had to say about Calgary. Mom of B & D It isn't Calgarians it is Canadians in general. They have to be since they know deep down that they play 2nd fiddle to the US, big time! I know I am from Toronto. i like people from calgary, and what a beautiful city. only there once. perhaps give them a break. notice where calgary is located, they can't help thinking they are the center of the known universe. it's a thousand miles to the next city of any size. kinda cool in that respect. Just you, you must be from Edmonupchuk and a bit jealous moved from Toronto and lived in Calgary for 6yrs, now living in Ottawa hahahaha well i like to think that because we have oil.... and we are one of the most richest provinces that we have quite the power to make decisions without being influenced... but because so many people immigrate there is a mix of people! hahahaha i hope we dont seem to high :P |
