Travel Info What is the weather like in Cacun in October? Travel Tips Hmmm it depends on if it rains or not. It is sunny and hot like mid 80's. Just plan for a rain day, but trust me when I say it will not stop your vacation. Cancun is loaded with clubs, shops, and hot spots which never stops the party unless it is a Hurricane in which they truly must evacuate. However a little rain will not effect your vacation. Cancun is loads of fun for party goers. Others HOT!! Lol...I went in December and it was warm enough to go swimming, excepts for one day when we got some wind...But it was in the high 70's to 80's lol. October is hurricane season, but most likely you won't be there during a hurricane. Other than that Cancun is a tropical climate and temperatures are usually in the eighties that time of year.
