Cancun Spring Break!! Anyone been? How great is it? |
Travel Info I've just booked a holiday at the Blue Bay Getaway and Spa in Cancun for mid-March 2007. Keen to hear of anybody's previous experiences: how busy is it? What sort of ages are there? How much is entry to the clubs? Is the Blue Bay even a decent hotel?! Cheers Travel Tips Blue Bay is suppoedly swingers paradise. Our friends ended up in that Hotel after accidently booking the wrong one - luckily they were single guys and actually enjoyed watching!!! Not my cup of tea though. We met a couple in Coco Bongos who were staying there and they were about 28ish - thinks its a mixture of all ages who like a bit of swinging! Was just at Cancun in September and it is absolutely brilliant. Coco Bongos is amazing - defi have to go. You can que up for at least 1 hour and pay $45 or can pay $55 and get express pass outside it and this gets you in a side door quicker than the que. Also, all inclusive inside and drinks are branded drinks and not just their own stuff. Tip the waiter though if you want a good seat as if you dont tip him they take you to the floor for you to stand all night but if they see you going into your pocket and giving them a good tip, they will put you in a good seat and come give you drinks all night as soon as your glass is half empty. City nightclub is also really good - I stayed in Riu Cancun and they done nightly trips to all different nightclubs for a set price which was better as they had a special seat cornored off and you get waiter service every night so if your Hotel does that, I would recomend going places with them. You will definately have a brilliant time though. I cant wait to go back. Others I went to Cancun 2 years ago and it was like paradise to me. The beach and sea is amazing. I stayed in a 2 star and it was spot on all hotels are on the beach. It was busy day and night. You get hassled a lot to go on timeshares. I went on one and got 拢50.00 and a bottle of tequila even though i did not buy but you do get sick of them.. Just say you going home later that day and they leave you alone. In the flea market I was getting asked if i wanted to buy drugs all the time it was mad. There was all age groups when i went in April a lot of American Students....A lot of Americans full stop. You are expected to tip everyone as well and they have the cheek to ask if you don,t. I went to Chitiniza and the Isle of Medures they were amazing. Have a great time I,m jealous. It's excellent. Pricey but well worth it. |
