Snorkeling in cancun?

im stayin at the riu cancun, how much is it for snorkeling and should i book it through the hotel or somewhere else?

Snorkeling and/or scuba diving are not the greatest in and around Cancun, but almost every hotel offers snorkeling and dive trips. Bookings can be done almost anywhere in Cancun, but the hotels are usually cheaper.

most hotels offer snorkling as part of thier allinclusive package.also try the water park that i sudenly cannot remember the name of.
Take a sidetrip to XEL HA, a great nonturbulent lagoon to snorkel. Also, snorkeling at Isla Mujeres can be fun, but don't do it if the waves are pounding - you will be shredded on the underwater rocks and coral. The hotels have diving/snorkeling trips, but I think the seas are too rough at times and they place the almighty dollar before safety. Prices vary considerably.
Been there, done that.
