Im going to cancun wheres the best place to go swim with the dolphins? |
Travel Info i wanna go swim with tthe dolphin with my girlfriend, just wondering how much it cost and wheres the best place to go?? Travel Tips Free the dolphins ... boycott the operators Source(s): http://sparks-mexico.com/ Other Travel Tips the best place is the ocean..... Swimming with the dolphins is one of the most memorable activities to do in Cancun. Those that have done it often find it an emotional and humbling experience and there are few that regret it. The normal ratio is no more than 4 people to each dolphin and as this is a popular activity, particularly during peak season, availability can be limited. It is advisable to reserve this trip before you go or as soon as you arrive to avoid disappointment. Most of the dolphinariums are designed to reproduce natural conditions, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience the dolphins in an ocean like habitat. Experience the dorsal tow where the dolphin pulls you through the water whilst you hold onto their fin or the foot push where the dolphins lift you out of the water with their noses. Several different programs at several different venues are offered and these allow different levels of interactivity and amounts of time with the dolphins The places in Cancun are listed at this site: http://www.cancuncare.com/tours/dolphins... We went in August and although I can't recommend a specific place I would not go to Xel-Ha again. We signed up for the full-day park entrance. The tour bus picked us up from our resort at 9am and then we finally made it to Xel-Ha around 11:30 after we stopped at numerous other resorts to pick up guests. The brochure made it sound like an incredible garden oasis by the sea offering snorkling, underwater sea treks, tubing, bicycling and swimming with the dolphins. As we found out the water was murky so any snorkling we did was a waste and the area was overly crowded. We did the sea trek and although it was cool was not worth the extra money we had to pay on top of admission. On top of this the food there was horrible but we had no other choice except to wait for the tour bus to arrive back that evening. |
