Travel Info
I was wondering if anybody has any advice..what we should do and such. We will be there for a week, on an all inclusive stay. Also, this may be a dumb question, but are the electrical plugs are the same.?(can bring my hair dryer and such)

Travel Tips
Cancun checklist:

Have too much fun!

Don't' drink the water, or the gazpacho soup!!!!!

Go to Senior Frogs!

Don't rent a car, the strip is mainly one long street and the buses run up and down all day and night!

Hotels have the same outlets we do here in the U.S., so do bring your hairdryer!

Try to stray away from the tourist traps, ask your concierge or a trusted local for places and shops away from the expensive tourist shops.

Do bring your swimsuit, the water is usually very warm even in January!

Do have too much fun!!! (worth repeating)

Others
Good For you
smart thing to do when going on vacation
you ask what kind of electirc outlet the hotel have
usually you fine both 110 &220 in an hotel
that depend on the class of hotel
but the intelligent thing to do is ask the place itself
Have fun
Electrical plugs will be the same.

Coconut shrimp there is scrumptious!

Don't drink their water! You can get sick.

Go to Senor Frogs - You will have a blast. It is a great, fun, very well-known restaurant. And be sure to buy a t-shirt!

Go parasailing!!!!!!

Go on a party or a dinner cruise on the ocean!
You should be fine to bring a hairdryer, but the less you bring the less you have to worry about. I would check with the resort and see if they supply them in the room. And it all depends on WHAT you want to do and if you want to spend a lot. We stayed on the resort because it had a club, gym, sand Volleyball, the beach and drinks/food all you could handle. My friends went to swim with the Dolphins, shopping basically your average stuff is what is offered. If you are partying, they have a booze cruise, a bus that will take you to each of the bars in downtown area. We did some of these activities on this website but I hope it helps, Xcaret has a underwater river and snorkeling. It was a lot of fun.

There are limitless things to do, but be a bumb on the beach is the best! Good luck and have fun and be safe!!!!!
HI,, yes,, it is beautiful.... go into the city for some shopping, go to Carlos and Charlies for some fun,,, there is a mall near where all the hotels are also.
The appliances should work ok?? they did when i was there..
If you have time, take the bus trip to Chitzen Itza, to walk around the Mayan ruins..

Have fun.....
Relax on the beach.
Go parasailing.
Walk the beachfront at night.
Party
Drink only bottled water & bottled drinks.
Don't add ice to your glass
Usually there's a hair dryer in the room, check with your resorts website or ask your agent or call their 800#
most of the hotels have hair dryer's. but you can take your own
without a problem.
