Travel Info Will want to take a few excursions. Is it harder to arrange from Playa Del Carmen? True, it does depend on what you like. Cancun has all the big hotels. The big clubs and where a lot of the Americans go. Playa del Carmen is a little diffrent. Filled with smaller hotels. Alot of the Europeans choose to go there. Beaches there are a little more calmer, and a lot of topless going on. Tons of lounge/bars.
