Travel Info What is the best way to get from the Cancun airport to my hotel? Travel Tips Sometimes the hotel will have a van. Find out. If not, then probably you'll need to take a taxi. Others Buy transfers before you get there. There are lots of scam artists in the airport there. Definitely plan ahead on this one. Believe me, I have been to this airport many times and even when you have already got transfers people try to lead you in the wrong direction. I don't think they are REALLY bad people, I just think they are trying to sell things that you probably aren't interested in buying. And when I get there, I am certainly not interested in having them waste my time. Take a taxi. If your hotel doesn't provide a van to pick you up don't use a taxi. Taxi's can cost as much as $40.00 US. There are mini buses, however, that will take you to your hotel for very little money, but these mini buses stop at various hotels to let passenger off (they do not pick-up passengers). It may take a little time to finally arrive at your hotel, but you won't have to pay an arm and a leg to get there. |
