I am a convicted felon who wants to travel to Cancun?

Travel Info
I am a convicted felon who would like to travel with his family to Cancun for the Christmas holidays. My probation officer is OK with my travelling, but he is not sure about the Mexican law.
Would someone please advice soon? Looking forward in hearing back.

Travel Tips
Mexican laws are quite clear, we are not going to judge you for a crime you committed outside our borders, unless your government asks our police forces to do so.

Just two notes:

1.- Bring every document that could help you to proof you are not prosecuted by your country's justice and

2.- Do not listen to those saying you could buy Mexican law officers.

Hope it helps.

This is Mexico we are talking right?. Heck just bring your US passport and you are all set. They don't ask and u don't tell.

You planning to come back after your trip or you just going to enjoy the Senoritas and Sunshine?.
