Are people still allowed to walk up the pyrmids? |
Travel Info The last time we were there we heard that they might stop letting people walk up the pyrmids? We are planning on bring our son in 08 and we want to be sure the ruins are still open in Chic it izes Travel Tips No I don't think they let people do it any more because there have been many accidents. Not en Chichen Itza nor Uxmal. But try one of the smaller sites like Tulum or Coba. Sorry for your kids I used to go as a kid and the only part i loved is climbing the pyramids Others I don't know, I would think that it would damage the pyramids, so I would guess no. that is also what I would hope is true... I do not think PEOPLE are allowed to "walk up" the pyramids, but people COULD use the stairs... ahahahhaaahahhaahahhahahahahah... I am sorry for being mean... I myself do not know, but would love to know.... -urs truly, JANE DOE yes no problem No I am sorry to say some one fell over the summer and the closed it, we climbed them last year I am so glad we did GO to Coba instead you can climb them and it is really cool I am 100% sure I was there in july yeah....but there are like steps |
