Lively in Cancun?

Im going to Cancun on 15 May 2007 with my Girlfriend and I was wondering will it be lively we enjoy going ou tand I want to know if the bars and clubs will be busy, and which are the best ones to go to thanks

In all seriousness, you wont even have to leave the resort! There are 4 bars, and a night club at the RIU.

Others
It's always busy in Cancun. Go to Senor Frogs they have a waterslide from inside the bar out to the lagoon which is pretty fun. And I for the life of me can't remember the club I went to but it was awesome at one point they had bubbles coming from every direction and it was shoulder high ( for reference I'm 5'7") You'll have a good time but don't spend all your time at the bars and clubs. Take advantage of trips they have to some of the ruins, snorkeling was an awesome experience as we'll as para-sailing. Have a wonderful time I can't wait to go back.
May is not as busy as March, but always lively in Cancun. Clubs...well here goes......Coco Bongo, The City, Dady O's, Bulldog Cafe, Congo Bar, XX Bar, Senor Frogs, Margarittaville, and Pat O'Briens are all a must. If you like salsa...Studio Seven. Oh...I forgot...The new Beach Club is wonderful. There is more, but these are the best. Coco Bongo is great fun...Vegas style shows and non-stop entertainment. The City is right up there with it. Margarittaville and Pat O'Briens are really good ones...I go here first every night....then finish off at the others as they stay open til like 5 or 6 a.m. Margarittaville is the best on Tuesday night....Beach Party night. Pat O'Briens I think is best on Thursday. Coco Bongo is best on Sunday. Check with the entertainment staff at your hotel.....they take people out at night and getting in is much quicker and VIP seating.
