Travel Tips Best bet is to take some US dollars to start with, if you try to get mexican pesos eg in Europe you will get ripped off by the bank. There are plenty of ATMs in Mexico where you can use your Visa card or even Maestro. Dollars are accepted in most hotels and restaurants in Canc煤n but why would you pay in dollars if you are in Mexico? Besides if you are paying in dollars at these places you are paying more proportionately than in pesos. If you take you credit card/maestro then you don't need to worry about having exchanged too much money. Wish you enjoy your holiday. Another tip, Don't stay too long in Canc煤n and visit some of the beautiful archeological sites or do some scuba diving. Others not sure Dollars tequila mexican peso Canc煤n is truly bi-cultural.
