Travel Info Someone told me the drinking age in Cancun moved to 21. Is that true? Travel Tips I doubt it. Think of all the cash 16, 17, 18,19, and 20 year olds spend drinking in cancun. Why on earth would the government raise the drinking age? Others no I was just there and they wanted to serve my 15 year old I would not allow it I think . NOT! I'm Mexican and i live in Mexico, the age to drink in Mexico, including Cancun is 18th. And for change that it could be almost imposible because you would to chance the constitution in every aspect about legal adult age. I would not go there it is NOT SAFE for US Citizens! Read the Department of States warning! Not true. As for the US State department warning - when are they going to start issuing warnings for places like Detroit, LA, Miami? You are much safer in Cancun then many places in the US. |
