Travel Info Going to Cancun for vacation...any suggestions on tours ot things to do with a group.? Travel Tips Major to do things include: 1. Tulum (absolutely breathtaking) 2. Xel-ha (no words would do the beauty justice) 3. Xcaret (again, beautiful) 4. Snorkeling (well-informed, but don't take anything with you and use their lockers. They will look at your things - been there, lost money because of my stupidity) 5. Go to Senor Frog's (bar - night time FUN) 6. Check out their newest mall (cannot remember name, but wonderful things at bargain prices, plus they'll barter which is fun) Almost everyone can find something to do. Cheaply!!! Others why not find somewhere in usa and have a safe time Be careful when going to clubs in the evening. Depending on where you go mixed drinks can be very high priced and have heard of some people getting bills in the thousands which wipes out them doing anything else for the rest of their stay and you are not leaving those clubs unless you pay those bills. Enjoy the beach and the nice weather. The water is a beautiful blue. Lots of fun activities on the beach during the day. Some of the tours are rather far and a day or more is taking when going on one. Many things to do: take a tour to the Xcaret natural park, visit the impressive ruins of Chichen Itza, hop on a bus and have dinner in Playa del Carmen, and while you are there take the ferry to Cozumel to go snorkeling in the Chankanab Bay reef. Enjoy the clubs, they are safe and good fun, catering well to tourists. Don't know how big your group will be but many visitors enjoy taking the ferry over to Isa Mujeres and renting golf carts and touring the island. They have some great restaurants there and some pretty beaches. Google Snorkel Adventure Tours, they have some very interesting excursions your group would enjoy. The snorkel trip to Puerto Morelos reef is a good one. If you can give us an idea what you all like to do, you will get some good suggestions. Happy travels We just got back from Cancun on the 17th of February. We took the jungle tour and went snorkeling and the ATV tour thru a jungle and riding on the beaches fo 2 hours they also have horseback riding there. It was alot of fun and the tour guides were great. We would suggest these tours. For a group this has something for everyone. My wife and I are yearly visitors to Cancun and Xcaret is a place not to miss, actually we go everytime. My highest recomendation. All the others are fabulous tours also but I think theres something here for everyone. http://www.xcaret.com/ |
