Any Inside Information on Oasis Resort in Cancun? |
Travel Info For our honeymoon we are going to the All-Inclusive Oasis Cancun Resort. I have went to many sites (tripadvisor/expedia) I was just trying to get ALL the information I can! Thanks Travel Tips Yes, I went there in May two years ago with my then-boyfriend. My first recommendation is to upgrade to the Oasis Grand to have a great time. It will give you access to the bars and restaurants where the loud teen/early 20's crowd can't go. I myself was probably about 25 years old, but it's just so hard to even get a drink most of the time because all the other bars were so crowded. Not sure when you're going (if you're going anytime between this month and the end of April, DEFINITELY upgrade to the Oasis Grand). The Oasis has a reputation for having a young, party atmosphere and even though management had changed by the time I was there, there was simply no difference. The grounds are beautiful, complete with cool iguanas, and with peacocks that sound like cats meowing at 7am. If you don't upgrade, make sure you get up early enough to avoid all the crowds throughout the restaurants/bars/hotel...Enjoy... and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Source(s): I stayed there Other Travel Tips check out www.tripadvisor.com Oasis is very nice, I've stayed there many times, but from experience in other resorts I wouldn't stay there for your honeymoon, their are so many other wonderful resorts, this hotel can be invaded by young people at times and I'm not sure if this caters to being on your honeymoon, have you researched Le Blanc or Dreams? Or even better properties in Playa Del Carmen, the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo is awesome, Secrets Capri or the any of the RIU palaces are wonderful Honeymoon resorts, I just think the Oasis is built around catering to all but honeymooners......Just from experience....
