What are some must do activities while in cancun? |
Travel Info im visiting cancun, for the 1st time, this summer with some friends, what are some things i must do, or places i should visit while im there. i will be there for six days. thanks ! Others do a swim with the dolphins, ride horses on the beach, and get out of the city for at least one day to hike in surrounding areas. there are also some really great clubs you should check out. Take the bus tour to the Mayan ruins at Tulum and the boat trip to the island where you can swim with the sea turtles in the natural rock aquarium. Take the Boat to the Island of Women! Do not buy anything on the boat there ... however... when you arrive (morning is best) go to the shack at the right of the smaller dock with all the local guys offering snorkeling trips. It will cost about 200 pesos each, but it is so worth it! (They speak no english, and it's best to bring your own snorkel gear). Their are endless things to do, below is a list with prices....... Many of the resorts offer these. They are usually guided tours with transportation to the Mayan Ruins etc. If you can do it for free take advantage of the tours. Other wise your hotel can direct you to tour guides that operate with in your resort. There's so much to do and the prices very greatly. One of the other posters gave that huge list of things to do. I do not suggest the swim with dolphins tours. They are wild animals that are kept in captivity and by taking part of those kinds of activities you are only helping to exploit them. Well obviously you want to spend some quality time on the beach or by the pool. But for other activities you can lookup cancun online for a list of various excursions available to you. During the day you can do the jungle speedboat tour, parasailing, jet skiing, or the mayan ruins (an all day thing)....at night check out the "party hopper" tour, the booze cruise to Isla Mujeres and of course the Coco Bongo, which is always crowded...senor frogs is much more fun. |
