Travel Info How will 10 Scottish guys be received in Cancun, kilts and all??? Is it really as good as we have heard?? Travel Tips June will be warm but what the heck your on the beach. Jump in the water and cool off. Personally, I would not want to stand out with what I'm wearing. I would rather blend in with others. JMHO. I think you will have a good time. That's Mexico in summer, my friend. if you wear kilts ppl might stare but some pretty wild stuff happens there so they prolly wont care that much Its sunny, white beaches, those tropical waters, warm i thought it was awesome too hot May and June, Cancun is filled with thousands of drunk American high school kids who just graduated and lend new meaning to the term "stupid Americans". If you are 19 and lame, go for it . . . Cancun is a great vacation spot. Going in June might not have the best weather, as it'll be hot, humid, and probably rain at least a little bit every other day or so. I've usually gone in March or April, and the weather was always good. I wouldn't worry about your look or cultural dress. It's an international vacation spot. Look at it this way, your group will be easy to find if you get separated from each other :-) Cancun offers something for each lifestyle. Partygoers, families, and honeymooners all can find things to keep them occupied. The beaches are some of the best in the world. White, and powder soft. I've been to Cancun over 30 times, I've been all seasons and I've always found it to be a great time, being scottish / irish myself we were down there once and met up with a wedding party from Scotland, they were having a blast, and the last time I went down we met up with some crazy English Rugby Team staying at Dreams Cancun, they were awesome party animals, I think your up for a great time what ever month you go, as for the weather, it's hot in June so bring on the suntan lotion.
