Travel Info Is Cancun in Mexico a safe place to holiday, or are you confined to the hotel grounds? Travel Tips very safe, been there twice and went all over the place, just don't drink the water Others Cancun is just as safe as anywhere else,i mean you can find trouble and crime in any part of the world! It is generally safe, but it is best to stay around other tourists and tourist areas. Do be careful though and do stay safe. What makes you think you are confined to the hotel when you get there. If someonbe is trying to wind you up then they have succeeded! Very nice place, nice people - pity about the Yanks that holiday there!! Enjoy every minute of the Yucatan if you go! Wonderful place!!! Very safe. I've been there a few times. The beaches are great, hotels are great, wonderful places to go. Try to go see the Dole Plant & Xcaret. Check out the link....beautiful. Cancun is very safe, I've been over 30 times and never had a problem, I've even been by myself and feel very safe leaving my hotel at night even to go to the strip etc. |
