How much would it cost me to rent a car in cancun in spring break,may be a jetta or something similar

take the bus.. any tours your take will provide transportation. walk the rest of your vacation. its safe to walk places there. even at nite.

Honest opinion, you wouldn't want to, Cancun is in the shape of a 7, not a long way to anything unless your planning a trip to Playa or outside of Cancun, even still you can get to Playa by bus for cheap, during Spring Break it will be sooooo crazy that renting a car would be a hazard, if you drink you will get pulled over and asked to pay right away but if you ask........around $40.00 a day for a basic up to who knows if they are almost sold out......But from experience you dont need a car, and if by chance you take one take extra insurance and remember the police are looking for you on Spring break they will pull you over for no reason.....and you pay on the spot, ...been there over 30 times I've seen it all.....

well it will go from $35 to $100 it depends but you wont need a car the busses come every five minute and they charge like 5 pesos like .50 cents they wil drive you all the hotel zone and all the clubs zone. the never stop coming not even at night thats wen they get alot more people so you won't need to spend that money on a car because you will need it to get in the clubs or if you whant to visit any other cultural place you might use the money for that it is better and they have transportation. when i was there i had someone from the hotel that was telling us how to get around and she will sale you the ticket and everything so as a advise don't buy anything from a stand or from someone out side the hotel cause you might lose your money.
