Others I've been there several times in September and October. 5 times out of 6 I had perfect weather. If it rained, it was for 5 minutes. Then the sun came out. Just keep in mind that it is hurricane season. The other time I was there, it poured down rain day and night for my whole 5-day vacation. You can check www.wunderground.com - they have historical data from years past (including last year) for the dates you will be traveling so you can get a good idea of what to expect. It is hot and humid during this time. Also, don't believe a weather forecast for down there. Many times, they have no idea whether it will shower or pour down and will just put 60% chance of rain no matter what... Many trips to Cancun during this time It's still hurricane season. I suggest you take out some travel insurance to be on the safe side. The weather is not predictable. I have been in Cancun in October and the weather was very good. It rained only at night. Go and have a great time. You will have plenty of warning if a storm is coming. the weather out there will be HOT .. there is one month litltle cool and is on January... beside that Cancun is a good place to go ... BUT ..If you are from UE or USA ..you will find out that soemtimes looks like somewhere in Florida , to many tourist ... I you can get information about Xcaret .. is a place like 2 or 3 hours to the south is amazing ! . I live in Veracruz ..so i know the weather out here |
