Travel Info I am going to cancun and I wanted to know if anyone could tell me of a good place to swim with the dolphins or even just places where I shouldn't go. Check out some of the ecological parks, Xcaret or Xelha......there is so much to see http://www.cancun.com has a huge list....Here's a list I cut and paste from another post where someone had the same question..... Ha, the list is endless, some keep saying pricing is outdated, but I go to Cancun every 2 months on a good day...I buy right off http://www.cancun.com, this is just a cut and paste not something I made up, ...you asked and here it is............pricing with your hotel is sometimes comparible but trust me I'm in Cancun so much I've compared and swear by Cancun.com now......... There is also snorkeling in a controlled environment. You can arrange a bus trip to go there, but they tend to be expensive. I loved Mayan ruins at Tulum, about 2 hours south of Cancun. Again, you can arrange to go through a bus tour. This should not be missed. There is a great beach there, so take a bathing suit if you go. Unless you are just into the beach and bar scene, try and get out of Cancun and go see some of the areas south of Cancun. Playa del Carmen is nice. Try some scuba diving - it is terrific. If you are certified, try cenote diving - cavern diving - it is incredible. Just be sure to arrange to go with a reputable PADI guide certified in cavern diving. That was our favorite part of the trip. titty bar I know just the place you can swim with the dolphins. On the Isla Mujeres at El Garrafon National Park, just a 20 minute ferry ride from Cancun. Or just take the ferry over, rent a golf cart and tour the island. You can do this on your own. Also at one of the eco-parks Xcaret you can swim with the dolphins. Or you can take a Snorkel Adventure tour in Puerto Morelos. When you get to your resort in Cancun, check out the tour desks and see if there is anything you'd like to do. I would wait to book till I get there. You will know what kind of weather you are dealing with. If you have to cancel you don't have to worry about refunds. Good Luck and have a fun trip. There are so many things to do while in Cancun, you can take a 30 minute cruise from Cancun to Isla Mujeres ( island of women ) and explore the village and enjoy the awesome shopping, them on to Isla Garafon to soak up some sun, visit Tulum the only Mayan city to overlook the Caribbean, then continue on to Xelha the largerst natural aquarium in the world......check out chichen itza and head back to Cancun for the night life which is endless..... Check out Dady O , Senior Frogs, the city etc..... It will be an adventure! |
