Has anyone stayed at the Hotel El Cid, Riveria Maya recently?

I am going there for my honeymoon on April 21st and want an idea of what to expect. I have seen great things from pictures but wonder what it looks like currently since i know there is construction going on. Also, does anyone know any romantic secluded places my new wife and i could go to be alone, like beaches or waterfalls or anything like that.

Do you mean the Marina El Cid? If so there are wonderful reviews on trip advisor, and epinions.com. Book a 1 bedroom suite, with champagne to make it more romantic

Tulum is has a number of great restaurants, quaint shops and is well worth spending a day visiting the ruins and dining el fresco style

Take a day trip to Merida
