Have you been to Cancun? What are good tourist things to see? |

Travel Tips My best advice is to do your research on the internet at home before you go. The things you are interested in take that info with you. Book excursions once you get to Cancun. You will know what the weather is like and in case you get a sand gravity attack you won't have to cancel if you prearranged the excursion. Most hotels have a tour desk, so no worries there. I contacted a tour company about a tour I want to take and he said to call when I get to Cancun. It was the best. Its a jungle and there is an underground river, that belonged to the myons and you can swim in it. It is a 45 swim. The whole place is really beautiful. Also go snorkoling, go see the chichinitza (the paramids built 1000 of years ago), they are amazing. You should book all your activities once you get there. Most hotels have them. Also there are a lot of people you will offer you all kinds of free excursions as mentioned above if you go and take a look at there time shares. You will have to waste 90 minutes of your time, but you will end up with 3-4 of the above mentioned activities for free. You should visit the Ruins for sure, many people love swimming with the dolphins, and I love going to Holbox........there is so much to do there, you can see rates for most excursions on http://www.cancun.com, I always buy before I get there, I find I save money and I go at least twice every 3 months for work =) Happy planning, don't forget your travel insurance =) Xel-Ha is GREAT.... a huge lagoon with a river, cliffs, underwater caves, etc. It has eating and drinking facilities and you can spend the entire day snorkeling. |
