If staying at an all inclusive resort in cancun, would a 17 year old be able to drink? |
Travel Info I know the drinking age in Mexico is 18, but I heard that it's not strictly enforced. I'm going to Cancun with my friend and her family and we're staying at an all inclusive resort and I was just wondering if it will be harder for us to drink there than if we were out at a bar or restaurant or something. Travel Tips You won't have a problem being served, as long as you don't get really intoxicated they usually are pretty standard to serve unless you look under 12. Have fun =) Others no i'm from mexico and its easy to find your way to drink an enjoy just like older people once you get there you see what i mean, so don't worry and have a wonderful time. no..me and my bf and his fam. just got back we stayed at a resort..it's not enforced..they want your money..so it doesn't matter..I'm 15 and he's almost 17.. and they didnt' even ask or anything..Plus, if the parents will let you drink I don't think they care either..have fun! It's a blast! Being with family, you will mostly likely be served. If you look like 10, no drinks for you. Be responsible for your actions if you are served. Be careful and don't act stupid. Have a fun trip and be safe. s You should be ok I went to Cancun when I was 18 and I was't id not one time they definately don't enforce the drinking laws to the full extent you should even be ok in the bars..hope this helps Have fun! yes, you would, because i'm only 14 and when i went there a week ago, they offered me alcohol when i asked for a drink...i don't think they realy ask for your age...but all hotels are diffirent |
