Information on traveling to Cancun, Mexico? |
Travel Info I heard that it's important to have the American Consulate information while traveling in Mexico. What other information should I have? Travel Tips Make a copy of your passport in case you lose it. The american consulate is right behind the daddyo's in a glass building. Cancun, Mexico is great. Beautiful beaches, weather and great nightlife. Enjoy yourself. Also, be warned that the tequila and vodka in the clubs is very very cheap and can get you sick. If you drink, I would recommend that you request top shelf liquor. Otherwise you will HATE yourself in the mornings! But Enjoy Cancun, its a very nice place! Others The usual stuff, emergency number to call, how to call, passport copy etc. My experience at the "local market" not ver pleasant. People there quite "pushy". So just watch out. Make copies of all your important papers. Passport, credit cards, airline tickets or e-mail ticket confirmation, ATM card. It's always good to know where to go in case of emergency. Leave copies at home with family members and copies in a different place than your originals.
