What is the best all inclusive resort to stay in at Cancun, Mayan Riveria??? |
Travel Info I am trying to decide between going to Cancun, Mayan Riveria, or to stay at Riu OCho Rios in Jamaica, but the dates that I want to go are extremely pricey for the Riu Ocho Rios espeically since you have to be living in a junior suite to be able to go eat at the a la carte dinners, which means spending more money staying at the deluxe side of the resort.... I've looked at the pictures of some of the reorts in Mayan Riverira, and they seem gorgoues too, and at a lower price, WITH the a la carte dinner restaurants included in all types of rooms, any experiences or suggesitons?? Travel Tips There are soooo many 1. RIU chains are awesome - The food is very good 2. Great Parnassus / Golden Parnassus was awesome 3. The Oasis chains are not my fav but not bad for the money 4. El Dorado is beyond amazing 5. Dreams Resorts are one of my fav too , outstanding customer service and food! Join a forum to get some feed back from others, and have fun http://www.tripadvisor.com =) Others With out a doubt.The Riu PLAYACAR.,in Play del Carman.All inclusive,great beach,one mile from town.You can also take the state of the art ferry in town for 7US to Coszemel island. Not fra from the Tulom runions Shel Ha water park,and Escarat Park"like a disney park.Been thier 8 years in a row.Also,the Riu next to this one."Just watch out one of the Riu's is not on the beach. It really depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Resorts in the Mayan Riviera area are beautiful and can be an excellent value. The RIUs and Iberostars for example, are a great choice. However, if you're looking for something more specific (like higher quality/gourmet food, or adult-only resorts, etc.), there may be better choices.
