Spending next week in Playa del Carmen & the forecast is all rain! Should I be worried or is it short-lived? |
Travel Info My wedding is scheduled for 5/1/07 at 5pm, and I'm freaking out that we aren't going to have nice weather all week...especially on our wedding day!! Does it ever rain all day or are they usually scattered showers with sun in between? Help please, I'm a stressed out bride! :-( Travel Tips I was at Playa Del Carmen week ago and when i arrived i looked at the weather forecast and it was expected to rain on a Wednesday and Thursday but i never saw a drop instead it was nothing but beautiful sun and a cool breeze, just what you expect from Mexico. I asked a local about the rain and he says he rarely sees rain around this time of the year. If you have a few sprinkles, it will pass very quickly. I don't know what weather you are watching but wunderground.com doesn't show rain all week. Stop checking the weather, it is only making you nervous. Smile and don't worry. Have a happy wedding day. Good Luck and think positive. s I just got back from cancun and it rained in the morning toward the afternoon it all burned off and it was awesome out!!... dont worry about it My husband and I will be in Playa next week. I checked on www.accuweather.com the 15 day forecast, and the only chance of rain they show is on Saturday May 5. The other days are suppost to be hot and humid. I think you will be okay and I hope you have a wonderful and beautiful wedding. Where did you get your forrecast review from? I've seen that happen alot traveling to Cancun, hopefully the weather works out for you. I've traveled before when the weather has shown the same, when I got there it was beautiful. Hopefully it's nice for your big day =) |
