Enjoy s Others Check out Coba and Cenotes! The main structure in Tulum is El Castillo that once was a lighthouse to guide the boats through the treacherous reefs. Because of all this or simply because of its awe-inspiring image, Tulum is now the most visited archeological site in Mexico and a fundamental part of Riviera Maya sightseeing. Take a trip to Playa del Carmen and enjoy the wonderful restaurants along the beach! Have fun =) Tulum is quite cool, but I think their are other mayan places which are a lot better! I think you will like it anyway, it is quite interesting... Dreams is a nice hotel to stay, it is for grown-ups only, so you won't have to stand up by kids running around. It is a good one! When going to Tulum there will be a bathroom on your immediate right, DO NOT USE IT. I had to go pretty ban one time, i had some bad water, and it was night, i payed 15 pesos to use the bathroom and there were spiders the size of my fist, and hardly any light. but other wise Tulum is cool, there is another place near it pronounced "Shell HA" it has the best snorkeling i have ever seen, saw a 6 ft barracuda, and a 8 foot diameter manta ray Bring bug spray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Especially if you are going in July!!!!!!!!!! Renting a care is good to it is very easy too get to!!!!!!! Have fun. Bug spray and sun screen and swimsuit if you want to cool off in the ocean. Very nice beach there with awesome blue water. |
